Volunteer Days
Lend a helping hand to the farm and enjoy the powerful impact of working on the land and with animals. Volunteer shifts are three hours long on the first Saturday of every month. Other shifts are available by prior arrangement. You are invited to spend a little extra time on the farm after your shift. Spot are limited and registration is required to volunteer.

Things to Know Before You Sign Up:
- All volunteers must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult.
- Volunteers are required to adhere to all safety regulations. Please cancel your shift if you are ill.
- Volunteers can arrive as early as 8:45 am and stay on the farm until 1 pm.
- Shifts may be scheduled up to 48 hours before the requested volunteer date.
- If you cannot attend your volunteer shift for any reason, please email Lisa at lisa@hopefarmsproject.org to cancel with as much notice as possible, so we can attempt to fill your shift.
- Please wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty; layers are encouraged due to changes in weather and temperature during the shift hours.
- Coffee, tea, and water are provided in the multi-purpose room.
- Bring your own lunch/snacks and water bottle. Sunscreen and weather-appropriate dress is recommended. Please wear closed-toed shoes as many of our animals roam free during the day.
- Release of Liability and Confidentiality forms are required. They are available at the bottom of the Home Page.
