Mentoring

Mentoring Program

Especially in these uncertain times, kids, teens and young adults need a place where they can be outdoors, engaged with a supportive and caring person, able to burn-off some steam, and have FUN!

Connection

Our mentors are young adults who have a broad range of interests and experience. They want to make a difference in the lives of others by connecting with and supporting young people in a fun and creative setting. We do our best to match individuals with same sex mentors who share common interests.

Animal-Assisted, Nature-Based Activities

Activities range from animal interactions, farm projects, expressive arts – including photography/film, writing, art and music – to tossing around the football, working out (ever heard of Farm Olympics?) and playing games.

I Don’t Want Therapy

Mentoring is for youth and young adults ages 10-25 who are not interested or open to psychotherapy but are simply looking for support, connection, something to look forward to and fun outdoors with cool easy-going people.

“He would be here every day if he could!” ~ Parent of a 10 year old boy

Due to COVID and safety precautions, all mentoring is done outdoors or in the barn during inclement weather. Sliding scale fees are offered to those impacted by the COVID crisis.
